Learn from the people who build the tools
A video course library on harder-styles production, made by Hardwave Studios. Every course is recorded on the tools you use, with the project files included.
The first courses, in production.
Recorded in order. Members get each one the day it is finished, and the ones after it at no extra cost.
Kick design
From a sine to a raw kick: tail, punch, distortion stages, and where it sits in the mix.
Mixdown for hard dance
Kick and bass together, screech placement, the loudness you can keep without the pump.
Mastering
LUFS targets that hold on a festival rig, limiting, true peak, and the final check with Analyser.
Screeches and leads
Serum and FL stock, layering, the FX chain that makes it cut.
Arrangement
Intro, build, drop, break: what the crowd hears and when.
Vocals in hard dance
Chops, formants, reverb that does not wash out, and sitting them over the kick.
