Senior Developer
TECH Part-time · Remote Senior Remote

Lead the technical direction of our plug-in and web stack. You will work across Rust (VST3/CLAP audio plugins) and Next.js (webviews, website, ERP), making architecture decisions and shipping features.

What you'll do

  • Architect and build audio DSP features in Rust
  • Develop and maintain Next.js web applications
  • Review code and mentor junior developers
  • Make technical decisions on tooling and infrastructure

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years with Rust or C++ in audio/DSP context
  • Strong Next.js / React experience
  • Self-directed — we don't micromanage
  • Interest in harder styles music production is a plus

Product Designer
TECH Freelance · Remote Medior Remote

Design the interfaces producers interact with every day — plugin GUIs, webview UIs, and the hardwavestudios.com website. You will shape how Hardwave looks and feels.

What you'll do

  • Design plugin GUIs for VST3/CLAP audio plugins
  • Create UI/UX for webviews embedded inside DAWs
  • Design website pages and marketing visuals
  • Maintain and evolve the Hardwave design system

What we're looking for

  • Portfolio showing UI/UX work (bonus if audio/music related)
  • Figma proficiency
  • Understanding of dark UI design patterns
  • Ability to work with developers on implementation

Help build and maintain our web applications — the main website, user dashboard, ERP system, and plugin webviews. Mostly TypeScript and Next.js.

What you'll do

  • Build features for the website and user dashboard
  • Work on the internal ERP and admin tools
  • Fix bugs and improve existing codebase
  • Write clean, tested code

What we're looking for

  • Comfortable with TypeScript and React
  • Basic understanding of Next.js App Router
  • Willingness to learn — we'll teach the rest

Own the marketing strategy for Hardwave Studios. Grow awareness in the harder styles production community, drive downloads, and convert free users to paid.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy

  • Manage social media presence and content calendar
  • Analyze metrics and optimize conversion funnels

What we're looking for

  • Experience marketing software or creative tools
  • Understanding of the music production / DJ community
  • Data-driven — comfortable with analytics

Create preset packs, demo tracks, and audio content that showcases what Hardwave plug-ins can do. Your work is what makes producers want to buy.

What you'll do

  • Design preset packs for LoudLab, WettBoi, and future plug-ins
  • Produce demo tracks showcasing plug-in capabilities
  • Create before/after audio comparisons for marketing
  • Beta-test new features from a producer's perspective

What we're looking for

  • Active hardstyle / rawstyle / hardcore producer
  • Deep knowledge of mixing and mastering workflows
  • Experience with VST3/CLAP plug-ins in a DAW
  • Portfolio of released tracks or preset work
