v0.259.010 Oct 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- The audio work can be shared across cores. A song where one track costs more than a block's budget could not play however many cores the machine had, because the graph ran on the audio thread alone. Tracks that do not feed each other run at the same time now. Settings > Audio picks how many threads; it starts at one until you have tried it on your machine, and the render is the same either way.
- Ableton Link. Settings > MIDI joins a session and says how many other apps are in it; the tempo and the start and stop are shared both ways with everything on the network that speaks Link.
- Plug-ins are told where the song is. The stutter follows it: a Sync setting picks a note value, the slice follows the tempo, and a group starts where the bar does instead of drifting past it.
- Mix against a record. Tools > Reference track loads a commercial track, measures its loudness, and plays it instead of your mix past the master chain and the master fader. Match loudness puts it where your mix sits, because comparing at two levels compares the levels.
- Stems (Pro). Right-click an audio clip and choose Separate stems: drums, bass, vocals and the rest land on four tracks under it, lined up with the clip, which is muted.
- Performance test. Tools > Performance test measures how many tracks your PC can play at your buffer size, and what switching on multi-core audio would add.
- Starter songs. File > New project starts a hardstyle, rawstyle, frenchcore or uptempo song with a tuned kick, an offbeat bass and the sections marked, so pressing play makes a sound straight away.
- Songs in Workspace. File > Save to Workspace puts the open song and the samples it uses in your Workspace, and File > Open from Workspace brings it back on any machine, samples beside it. Saving again only sends what changed.

Hardwave Suite
- One Hardwave app: Home shows what is on this PC, the one thing that needs you with the steps for your DAW, your plug-ins, and what is ready with Pro.
- Plug-ins: All, On this PC, Updates and Pro beta; what changed per plug-in; where it installs.
- Workspace, Hardwave DAW and Academy each have a page; Help with the guides.
- Settings is a page: account, updates, install locations, this app.
- New installer: four screens, picks the folder, shows every step, ends at sign-in.
v1.0.30-rc18 Oct 2026beta
Hardwave Analyser
- Your sign-in no longer travels in the plug-in window's web address (#11)
- True peak now reads exactly per BS.1770 (it read about 0.3 dB high), and peaks above 0 dBFS are shown instead of stopping at 0 (#10)
- The plug-in measures loudness itself on every sample, the groundwork for exact LUFS and loudness range in the window (#10)
v0.4.9-rc18 Oct 2026beta
Hardwave WettBoi
- Delay tails fade out, ping-pong bounces, reverb Decay and wet level are right (#16)
- Your sign-in no longer travels in the plug-in window's web address (#15)

Hardwave WettBoi
- The log we ask for when a window stays blank now says what happened. It records whether the interface loaded, and what went wrong if it did not, so a report can be answered instead of guessed at.
v0.4.66 Oct 2026stable
Hardwave WideBoi
- A closed message channel can no longer take your DAW down. When a host closes the pipe the plug-in writes its own log lines to, writing the next line failed hard and the crash took the DAW with it. Those lines are now dropped when nobody is listening, which is what a log line deserves.
- The window fills its frame and keeps drawing. In hosts that resize or reload the plug-in, the interface could come up blank, sit at the wrong size, or stop updating. It now follows the window it is given, and it only asks the plug-in for a new picture when something has actually changed, which is lighter on your machine.

Hardwave KickForge
- KickForge no longer crashes the host when the host has closed its error output by @Dishairano in https://github.com/Dishairano/hardwave-kickforge-vst/pull/1

v0.7.46 Oct 2026stable
Hardwave LoudLab
- A closed message channel can no longer take your DAW down. When a host closes the pipe the plug-in writes its own log lines to, writing the next line failed hard and the crash took the DAW with it. Those lines are now dropped when nobody is listening, which is what a log line deserves.

Hardwave PumpControl
- A closed message channel can no longer take your DAW down. When a host closes the pipe the plug-in writes its own log lines to, writing the next line failed hard and the crash took the DAW with it. Those lines are now dropped when nobody is listening, which is what a log line deserves.

v0.258.05 Oct 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- feat(daw): a plug-in's own presets are in the browser
- feat(daw): MPE, so one note of a chord can be bent on its own
- feat(daw): Mackie Control and HUI desks drive the mixer
- feat(daw): the interface can speak another language, starting with Dutch
- feat(daw): the piano roll can be used from the keyboard
- feat(daw): the arrangement can be used from the keyboard
- feat(daw): microtuning from Scala files
- feat(daw): a modulation matrix
v0.256.028 Sept 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- feat(daw): VCA groups
- VCA groups. A rail beside the mixer faders holds groups that ride several tracks at once: pick the tracks a group covers, and its fader is added to each of theirs. Nothing is rerouted, so where the effects sit and what the sidechain keys off stay exactly as they were, and the balance inside the group is kept. A group can be muted, and a track can sit in more than one.
v0.255.028 Sept 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- feat(daw): per-note pan, fine pitch and release
- Per-note pan, fine pitch and release. The strip under the piano roll now switches between VEL, PAN, FINE and REL, so one note can sit to the side, be detuned by a few cents, or have a shorter tail than the note next to it. A hi-hat pattern that steps left and right is one clip instead of two tracks.
v0.254.028 Sept 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- feat(daw): one part can play several instruments
- One part can play several instruments. Right-click a MIDI track, pick "Send its notes to…", and the ticked tracks play the same notes through their own instrument and their own effects. The notes stay in one place, so editing the part changes every layer at once.
v0.253.028 Sept 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- feat(daw): a preset browser across every plug-in
- Macro knobs. Tools > Macro knobs makes one control that moves several parameters at once across several plug-ins and tracks. Each link says which two values the parameter travels between, so one knob can open one filter while it closes another. Macros and their positions are saved with the song.
- feat(daw): macro knobs
- A preset browser. Tools > Presets lists every preset you have saved across every plug-in, searches them by preset or plug-in name, and loads one into whichever slot you pick. Rename and delete are there too. Presets built into a plug-in are still not listed, and the panel says so.
v0.251.028 Sept 2026stable
Hardwave DAW
- feat(daw): arrangement sections
- Arrangement sections. Mark the loop range as a verse, chorus or drop, see it named in a coloured band on the ruler, and repeat a whole section with everything in it: the clips are copied and everything after moves along.
v0.12.10-rc128 Sept 2026beta
Hardwave KickForge
- A closed message channel can no longer take your DAW down. When a host closes the pipe the plug-in writes its own log lines to, writing the next line failed hard and the crash took the DAW with it. Those lines are now dropped when nobody is listening, which is what a log line deserves.
v0.7.4-rc128 Sept 2026beta
Hardwave LoudLab
- A closed message channel can no longer take your DAW down. When a host closes the pipe the plug-in writes its own log lines to, writing the next line failed hard and the crash took the DAW with it. Those lines are now dropped when nobody is listening, which is what a log line deserves.
